Hertz, one of the UK’s largest fleet operators, has extended its remarketing contract with Dealer Auction for a further two years, remarketing over 4,000 vehicles every year via Dealer Auction’s digital remarketing platform.

With the renewed two-year partnership in place, Hertz will continue to benefit from the bespoke cascading system designed for them by Dealer Auction, which offers three different tiers to the selling process for both its closed and open networks. These tiers include a 24-hour timed auction, a 48-hour buy-it-now listing, and Dealer Auction’s new Make Me an Offer solution. Meanwhile, buyers benefit from Dealer Auction’s integration with Autotrader accessing real-time demand data on every listing, including pricing, days to sell and Retail Rating.

This renewal was secured following stand out results from the initial partnership between the two businesses. Hertz began working with Dealer Auction in 2023, working with the team to revamp its remarketing strategy and develop a bespoke cascade process and branded storefront to enhance buyer experience. Following the launch of its stock on Dealer Auction, Hertz grew its buyer base by 31% in just six months, reduced its days-to-sell by 4 and increased its CAP performance by 5%.
